Energy Conversion Materials Group

About us:

The Energy Conversion Materials research group (ECMGroup) was established in 2015. The members of the group are employees and doctoral students of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at AGH University. The main research topics which are of interest to the group refer to materials for energy conversion - their synthesis, characterization and modification of properties by appropriate choice of chemical composition (doping) and the synthesis conditions, combined with theoretical modeling of their properties using advanced methods of quantum mechanics (in silico experiments) to better understand their structure and properties and to predict the effect of changes in chemical composition on the properties of such materials.
